Filling the Void in Endoscopic Care

The Southeastern Endoscopy Center is a unit of Southeastern Gastroenterology, a patient-focused and quality-driven gastroenterology practice in Columbus, GA. Founded by Dr. Shane Darrah, our center provides better, more efficient service to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Before the creation of Southeastern Endoscopy Center, patients would have to wait weeks at a time for gastroenterology care and endoscopy services. Now, patients benefit from reduced wait times between scheduling or referral and their office visit or procedure, leading to better care and often resulting in faster relief.
Construction for the Southeastern Endoscopy Center was completed in February 2024, and we acquired state licensure in March. As of May 2024, we are also AAAHC-certified and CMS-certified.

Since opening, we have performed hundreds of procedures and are now credentialed with several private insurance companies.
Southeastern Endoscopy Center continues to grow alongside Southeastern Gastroenterology due to the high demand in our area for gastrointestinal solutions and top-tier care. It’s always our goal to connect patients with the best gastroenterologists in West Central Georgia and East Central Alabama.
